Meet your guide at your preferred pick-up location for a briefing, then set off to Jinja, taking in scenic views of the industrial area and commercial plantations En-route.

Not your ordinary waterfall, Sezibwa is steeped in legend! It is said that a woman expecting twins instead gave birth to two rivers, Sezibwa and Bwanda, which flow below the falls. Traditional pilgrimages are held here, with offerings of herbs, stones, or other items believed to bring good luck. Beyond its fascinating history, the stunning views and roaring waters are awe-inspiring. Activities include rock climbing, self-guided nature walks, and birding.

Explore to Mabira Forest, once known as Uganda’s “Amazon,” covering 300 sq.km between Lugazi and Jinja and protected as a forest reserve since 1932. Despite past logging, Mabira remains rich in biodiversity, with over 300 tree and bird species and playful monkeys along the way. Enjoy a 2–3 hour guided nature walk, discovering primates, unique trees, and the forest’s diverse birdlife while learning about their ecological importance.

Get ready to soar like a monkey at Griffin Falls Camp! Experience the rainforest from above as expert Sky Captains guide you across five thrilling zip-lines spanning 250m over River Musamya. Take in breathtaking views of the forest canopy, playful primates, vibrant birds, and Griffin Falls itself. Afterwards, enjoy a local lunch in Jinja (subject to change).

Conclude your adventure in Uganda’s adventure capital with a scenic boat cruise to the Source of River Nile, enjoying views of the river and spotting birds such as kingfishers, cormorants, African fish eagles, egrets, and weaver birds. Sip the famous “Nile Special Beer” as you take in the surroundings. Visit the Mahatma Gandhi Monument, honouring the world’s apostle of peace, and the Speke Monument, commemorating John Hannington Speke, who discovered the Nile’s source in 1856. Finish by browsing for souvenirs at the Nile craft shops.

End your tour with a visit to Jinja Central Market, the city’s largest market, hosting around 7,000 vendors selling fresh produce, fruits, and local crafts. Observe daily city life and explore iconic landmarks. Alternatively, opt for adventure activities such as bungee jumping ($120 pp) or quad biking ($60 pp/hour).
